The Markey Township Board will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Markey Township Hall. The Markey Township Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is changing their regular meeting from April 23, 2024 at 10:00 am to April 22nd, 2023 at 10:00 am to meet with the Township Board. The purpose of the meeting is to receive public input on the 5 year Parks and Recreation Plan. Anyone interested in the future of the parks in Markey Township are encouraged to attend.

Markey Merchants Market dates are June 29, 2024, and August 10, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Please call the township for information or a vendor application.

Leaf pickup dates are May 4, May 18, and June 1st. Leaves need to be in biodegradable bags and weigh under 50 pounds. Please have bags at the road by 6am. Be advised that pickup may take two days.
