Truman Gardner Park is located next to the Township Hall on East Houghton Lake Drive.  At the park you will find two tennis courts, a basketball court, shuffle board, horseshoes, a covered pavilion, and various playground equipment.  Watch in 2008 our new  playground equipment will be installed thanks to various grants, fundraisers and generous donations.

Sports equipment is available for use in the park.  Pick up a basketball, horse shoes, tennis racket, or shuffleboard set at the Country Peddler Store across from the park.

Your $5.00 deposit is refunded at the time equipment is returned in good condition, by 8:30 p.m.

At the corner of Markey Road and School Road you will find the Markey Township Baseball Fields.  The Christian Softball League uses the fields on Tuesday and Thursday nights from May-August.  There are also a few pieces of playground equipment located at the fields for the kids.  Our new soccer fields were completed summer 2007.
