HALL RENTALS

Markey Township offers the meeting room to rent for special events:

          Rules for rental are as follows: 

1. To qualify for the resident rate for hall rental, the person renting the hall must be a Markey Township resident who is renting the hall for his/her own use.
2. The hall will NOT be rented to minors or for-profit purposes, or where a cover or entrance fee is charged.
3. Hall capacity is 75 persons.  Hall must be vacated by 1:30 AM. Periodically inspections may be made during the rental period for capacity purposes.
4. No parking or driving on grass or sidewalks.
5. Food or beverage must be confined to kitchen and meeting hall.
6. Absolutely NO tacks, staples or tape are to be used for fastening decorations to walls or ceiling.  Tape may be used to fasten décorations to tables but must be COMPLETELY removed.
7. Building and grounds must be cleaned according to the "Hall Rental Cleaning Requirements”.
8. Facility must be left as it was when rented.
9. NO Alcoholic beverages or smoking allowed.

Residents may also rent the Gazebo for special events.  Gazebo rental is $50.00 per day.
