Road Brining

Markey Township participates in Dust Control Road Brining. There are currently three (3) applications of Brine each year. Normally, one each month during the months of May, June, and August. 2010 Dates: May 5th, June 16th, and August 18th. Current roads being brined are Everett Road Buzzonia Boulevard Carrick Drive,Bear Trail, Cut Road (north of School Road) School Road(East of Cut Rd) Lansing Rd (from end of pavement east to Cut Rd)Gardner Road (south of Lansing Road) Lansing Road ( between Townline & Gardner Road)  Townline Road Brining dates are normally set at the February Board Meeting.
