Markey Township participates in Dust Control Road Brining.

 

There are currently three (3) applications of Brine each year.  Normally, one each month during the months of May, June, and August.  2008 Dates:  .

 

Current roads being brined are

Everett Road

Buzzonia Boulevard

Carrick Drive

Cut Road (north of School Road)

Gardner Road (south of Lansing Road)

Lansing Road ( between Townline & Gardner Road)

Redwood Road (between School and up to the 2 track)

Townline Road

Brining dates are normally set at the February Board Meeting.
